Nate Washington leads Titans receivers but Kendall Wright catches TD: Fantasy implications

Scott Cunningham

Nate Washington led the Titans with five receptions for 69 yards Sunday, but Kendall Wright caught the team's lone touchdown against the Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nate Washington led the Tennessee Titans with 69 yards receiving off five receptions during Sunday's overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Kendall Wright caught the team's lone touchdown, a 23-yards strike from Matt Hasselbeck, on his way four-reception, 47-yard game.

Kenny Britt was targeted five times on the night, but couldn't keep pace with Washington and Wright. He finished the night with three receptions for 37 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Hasselbeck distributed the ball very evenly during the game. Washington had six targets compared to five for Britt and Wright. While Washington appears to be Hasselbeck's favorite receiver by a bit, all three wideouts are on essentially equal footing.

It's tough to recommend any of the three receivers as a weekly starting fantasy option as long as they continue to split targets in an already mediocre passing offense. Any one of Washington/Wright/Britt is worth no more than Flex consideration in standard formats.
