Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson received the same amount of carries in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

Steven Jackson received just seven carries in Week 8, the same amount as Daryl Richardson. Jackson earned just 23 yards rushing while Richardson tallied up 53 yards on the ground.

Isaiah Pead also saw three carries, but with the Rams trailing big for the majority of the game, they were forced to focus on passing the ball down the stretch.

Fantasy Impact: Trade rumors have surrounded Jackson recently, but it's clear the Rams intend to continue divvying up the workload in the backfield if he sticks around. Jackson made a little more of an impact in the receiving game, but his fantasy value remains on the decline with the current state of the Rams.

We'll see if Jackson is dealt anywhere before the trade deadline. St. Louis is on a bye in Week 9, and if Jackson is still around after that he'll have a tough matchup against the 49ers in Week 10.
