Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin puts up big numbers in Week 8. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Dallas Cowboys wide out Miles Austin had a big numbers day versus the New York Giants in Week 8. In the NFC East divisional match-up, the Cowboys No. 1 receiver recorded 9 catches for 133 yards. And while he racked up the catches and yards, Austin failed to the find the end zone.
Austin was one of three Dallas pass-catchers with huge days in Week 8. The numbers are less indicative of how the team did as a whole, and more representative of late-game desperation.
Fantasy Analysis: Austin should be putting these kinds of numbers of on a more frequent basis. He is a very talented pass-catcher and big-play threat in this Dallas offense. His great focus and ability to adjust to the football makes him a threat on every down.
With Tony Romo slinging the football around 40-plus times a game, Austin finds himself in an incredibly advantageous position. Miles Austin remains a must-start in fantasy leagues week to week.
