Michael Vick isn't making a case to remain starting quarterback. We break down the fantasy implications.
Michael Vick completed 21 of 35 passes for just 191 yards and a touchdown in Week 8's loss to the Falcons. While Vick didn't turn the ball over this time, he didn't do much to keep the Eagles in the game.
Afterwards Vick acknowledged the fact that Andy Reid is thinking about making a change at quarterback, which would put rookie Nick Foles under center.
Fantasy Impact: The Eagles aren't getting the job done on either side of the ball, so it might be time for a change. It's unclear what he will decide to do. Vick is a versatile quarterback who has brought success to the franchise before, but clearly times are tough in Philadelphia.
It's a tough decision for coaches to make. Be sure to check on the status of this situation as the week progresses. If Vick remains the starter, his value will be much higher next week against a Saints defense that is basically nonexistent right now.
