DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin had mediocre numbers in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.
DeSean Jackson finished with five receptions for 59 yards on eight targets against the Falcons, while Jeremy Maclin caught six passes for just 33 yards on 10 targets. Michael Vick threw for only 191 yards, leaving both receivers with less than impressive stats.
Jackson nearly broke free on one receiver screen, but aside from that there weren't many fireworks in the Eagles passing game this week.
Fantasy Impact: While Maclin went off last week, Jackson continues his streak of unimpressive outings. He hasn't scored since Week 4, leaving fantasy owners wondering when/if things will ever pick up.
Both receivers are worth starting next week, though, as the Eagles take on the Saints. Taking on New Orleans' porous defense is a good remedy for any struggling offense.
