Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could soon lose his starting job. We break down the fantasy implications.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could soon be out of a starting job but a switch at quarterback reportedly isn't a done deal. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, coach Andy Reid is not yet committed to making a quarterback change because it doesn't solve all of the team's problems. However, a source told Rapoport not to be surprised if Nick Foles is named the starting quarterback.
Vick said on Sunday that Reid was "obviously" thinking about making a quarterback change and that he would support that decision if it was made. The Eagles face the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 on Monday night.
Fantasy Impact: There has been no official decision, so this remains speculation. Vick is the best quarterback the Eagles have but his time may be up after Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
There are more problems with the Eagles than Vick but Reid is also fighting to keep his job. Nothing appears to be off the table at this point in the season.
