Vincent Brown still not able to run, fantasy value remains nil

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE

Vincent Brown is still trying to recover from a broken ankle. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (broken ankle) has been slow to recover. According to Michael Gehlken, Brown is still not able to run and coach Norv Turner doesn't expect him back anytime soon.

Brown broke his ankle in the second preseason game and has yet to make his season debut. He had 19 catches for 329 yards and two TDs in 2011.

Fantasy Impact: The Chargers initially set a timetable of Week 9 for his return, but that's obviously not happening. It's getting increasingly likely that they'll simply shut him down for the season.

Brown was hoping to push Robert Meachem for snaps in San Diego's weak WR corps, but this injury has completely derailed his season. Leave him on the waiver wire, fantasy owners.
