Steven Jackson limited in practice, Week 5 fantasy value unchanged

Scott Kane-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson was limited in practice on Tuesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson was limited in practice on Tuesday ahead of the team's Thursday night game with the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson had 18 carries for 55 yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks but was held out of practice on Monday. Jackson has been dealing with a groin injury but is expected to play on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact: The fact that Jackson was able to participate in practice is a good sign for Thursday, as there was some concern that he might not do much in practice considering the short turnaround. Jackson has not rushed for more than 58 yards in a game this season but should probably be considered a No. 2/3 fantasy running back this week.
