Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday for Week 4. Rodgers threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns in a win on Sunday over the New Orleans Saints. The numbers are more impressive considering that wide receiver Greg Jennings left the game because his groin injury flared up again in the first half. Green Bay plays the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: This is the type of performance that Rodgers owners were counting on when they drafted him or paid top-dollar at auctions before the season. Rodgers has 300-yard games so far this season but Sunday was his first with more than two touchdown passes. He should have another big day against the Colts.
