Michael Vick removed from team's injury report: Fantasy Implications

Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was removed from the team's injury report. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick (knee) was removed from the team's injury report this week. The injury-prone QB has been roughed up in 2012, and most recently by the division rival New York Giants. Vick appears to be healthy and ready to go in Week 5 when the Eagles take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Analysis: Week 5 presents a tough match-up for the Steelers, with their aggressive, notorious 3-4 defense getting healthy. Vick could be in for a long day, because when he' taking hits -- which is often -- he tends to turn the ball over, whether it's a fumble or interception. Vick has not been as careful with the football this year as he should be. His turnovers are negating valuable fantasy points. Vick is not a must-start QB, so feel free to play the match-ups with him.
