Michael Crabtree had five receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns during Monday night's game between the 49ers and the Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.
Michael Crabtree had five receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns to help the San Francisco 49ers to a dominant victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. Crabtree caught all five of his targets on the night.
Crabtree now has three receiving touchdowns on the season. His only other touchdown reception came in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills. He was aided by an 18-for-19 night passing from quarterback Alex Smith.
Fantasy Impact: Crabtree had his best fantasy outing of the year since his 113-yard performance against the Bills. Smith's ruthless efficiency played a big part, however. While Smith silenced a lot of critics, it would be asking a lot to expect repeat performances on a weekly basis. As a result, Crabtree's returns could be more modest going forward. He has had fewer than 72 yards receiving in five of his other seven games played this season.
