Ryan Tannehill took first-team snaps with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports. Tannehill is dealing with deep bruises on his knee and quad, but may already be taking full reps in practice after an MRI revealed no structural damage to his knee.
There is no official word yet on his playing status for Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts. If Tannehill can't play, Matt Moore would start in his place.
Fantasy Impact: Barring a setback, it appears that Tannehill is on his way to starting Sunday. That's good news for fantasy owners who have been getting better production out of the rookie quarterback lately. Tannehill went 21-of-29 passing for 185 yards and two touchdowns in his last full game in Week 6 against the St. Louis Rams.
The Colts have given up 13 touchdowns while intercepting a league-low two passes so far this season, so Tannehill is set up nicely for solid fantasy outing. He is still tough to recommend as a fantasy option outside of two-quarterback leagues, however.
