The Lions tight end has a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew sat out Wednesday practice with a knee injury. Pettigrew has had the issue for several weeks now but has not missed any game time because of it. He has 38 catches for 374 yards in seven games on the season, and it would be surprising to see him miss this week's game against the Jaguars.
Fantasy Take: The former first round pick has been expected to break out for several years now, but remains a low end TE1 and has only caught one touchdown on the year. Pettigrew could catch 90 balls, but has not been a viable red zone option consistently, and therefore will remain limited in fantasy value until he can start scoring more.
