Cardinals DT Darnell Dockett expected to play, helps fantasy value of Arizona's defense

Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett is expected to play on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinal defensive tackle Darnell Dockett is expected to play on Thursday despite being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms. Dockett missed last weekend's game against Miami but was limited in practice on Wednesday. The Cardinals face the St. Louis Rams on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals are off to a 4-0 start because of their defense and Dockett's return will make them better. Arizona is strong against the run and has been a strong producer for fantasy owners. In Week 4, the Cardinals held the Miami Dolphins to just 86 yards rushing. The Cardinals are a must-start D/ST unit for fantasy owners in Week 5 against the St. Louis Rams.
