Aaron Hernandez returned to practice Thursday for the New England Patriots from a Week 2 ankle injury, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Aaron Hernandez returned to practice Thursday for the New England Patriots, according to Shalise Young of the Boston Globe. Hernandez had been sidelined since Week 2 due to an ankle injury. Fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski also returned to practice coming off a hip injury.

Fantasy Impact: Neither tight end practiced Wednesday, but the big story here is Hernandez. While a return in Week 5 is unlikely, he could join the team in Week 6 to take on the Seattle Seahawks. That is swift progress off of what was initially believed to be a high ankle sprain. Gronkowski, meanwhile, was able to play through his hip issue last week and is expected to do so against against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
