Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon is not at 100 percent but expects to play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon said it will still take some time for his injured foot to be completely healed. Garcon said Thursday (via The Washington Post) that the healing process is coming along but he is still not at full capacity. Garcon hurt his foot in Week 1 on an 88-yard touchdown catch and returned to the field last week after missing two games. He had one catch for 20 yards against Tampa Bay and also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon is still a few weeks away from being a significant fantasy contributor but he should not be ignored in deeper leagues. Garcon is a No. 3 fantasy WR or flex play this week but should have more value as we get deeper into the season.
