Donald Driver OK with role as long as Packers win: fantasy implications

Benny Sieu-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver insists he's OK with his limited role in the offense as long as the Packers are winning. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver has two catches this season through four games but he isn't ready to say he's unhappy with his limited role in the offense. Driver tell's NFL.com's Ian Rapoport that he's OK with the way he's being used "as long as we're winning games." One of his two catches this season did go for a touchdown but he's been passed on depth chart by Randall Cobb and James Jones.

Fantasy Impact: There is a chance Driver could see a slight fantasy boost in Week 5 because starter Greg Jennings has been ruled out for Sunday's game with a groin injury. Driver, however, is mostly a veteran insurance policy for the Packers in case of injury. He is not worth adding to a fantasy roster, as it's hard to imagine his playing time increasing all that much.
