New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden did not practice again on Friday and has been ruled out for Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.
Editor's Update: Ramses Barden has been ruled out for Week 5, as expected.
New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden (concussion) did not practice again on Friday and will likely be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Barden took a hit late in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and has not practiced this week.
Fantasy Impact: Barden's fantasy value for Week 5 was already limited as New York's No. 3 receiver this week but this knocks it down to zero. Rueben Randle will likely see an increase in playing time in place of Barden, who became fantasy relevant thanks to his strong performance in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. Randle is a flyer in deeper leagues and should not be counted on this weekend.
