Aaron Hernandez is questionable and fantasy owners should have a backup plan

Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Aaron Hernandez is questionable. We break down the fantasy implications.

Aaron Hernandez (ankle) was limited in Thursday and Friday's practices after missing practice on Wednesday. He is listed as questionable for Sunday against the Broncos.

Analysis: There has been a lot of varying information on the Hernandez injury front, but at least he is back at practice. Hernandez was back at practice for the first time and he's healed quicker than most expected. While this is encouraging, fantasy owners shouldn't be banking on him this week and they should use their backup tight end for another week. Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker should see more targets and both are going to be obvious must-start options.
