Jahvid Best has missed all season with concussion issues, but could he be back in two weeks? We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best has not played since week 6 of last season, but the Lions are hopeful that he can return when he is eligible to come off the PUP list after next week. Best will go through concussion tests this week and if all goes well, he will be able to get into full practice in preparation of week 7 and then start to shake the rust off. Fantasy owners were hopeful that Best would not miss that much time after he suffered the injury last year but it is now coming close to a full fantasy year since he's played in an NFL game. Best had 677 total yards in six games last season.

Fantasy Take: Best has always been a personal favorite of mine and he was really starting to get things going before the injury. It would be hard to put too much investment in him this year but you'd also have to think that if he is fully recovered from the concussion, that he'd be 100% healthy when he enters week 7 and then it's about getting back into game shape and he could be a sleeper for those fantasy playoffs.
