Terrell Suggs expects to return from a torn ACL by the Ravens' Oct. 21 bout with the Texans, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.
Terrell Suggs expects to return to the Baltimore Ravens by Oct. 21, according to a report Sunday from ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Suggs tore his ACL in May, and has been on the shelf since. According to Mortensen, head coach John Harbaugh likely won't let Suggs play as soon as he is ready, making a Nov. 4 return after the team's bye week much more likely.
Fantasy Impact: Those in IDP leagues should be monitoring this situation very closely. Suggs had 14.0 sacks, two interceptions and seven forced fumbles on his way to earning NFL Defensive MVP honors for the 2011 regular season. He is a potentially dominant fantasy option if he can come back to the Ravens fully healthy, hopefully sooner than later.
