Dwayne Bowe did what he could in a neutered passing game. We break down the fantasy implications.
Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe made the most of a chaotic QB situation. Against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5, Bowe had six catches for 60 yards and led the team with eight targets. He also had a touchdown pass called back by an iffy offensive pass interference call. The Chiefs went on to lose 9-6.
Fantasy Impact: The Chiefs all but abandoned the passing game in a bizarre gameplan, running the ball 50 times to just 18 passing attempts. The reason for this is obvious - the team has zero confidence in Matt Cassel. Brady Quinn came in after a Cassel injury and gave the offense a pulse, including the TD pass that wasn't. KC's offense is a complete mess right now, and Bowe and Jamaal Charles remain the only safe fantasy options here. Bowe has a great matchup against the Bucs secondary next week.
