Robert Griffin III left the game in the third quarter with a mild concussion and had an otherwise slow day, going 10-for-15 for 91 yards and no touchdowns with an 82.9 QB rating in the Washington Redskins 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. RG3 also only added seven yards on the ground on one rushing attempt, during which got hit in the head and left the game.
Fantasy Impact: Clearly the big issue here is the health of Griffin. Hopefully he won't miss any time and will get a chance to have a bounce back performance next week against the Minnesota Vikings. This game marks the first time of his career that Griffin has failed to either pass or rush for a touchdown. He also posted career lows in yards passing, QB rating, and rushing yards and attempts. Obviously some of those lows come from the fact that he only played two-and-a-half quarters of football, but the Falcons managed to bottle up RG3 fairly well. Stay tuned for more info on Griffin's health, but if he is given the green light there is no reason not to put him back in your starting lineup.
