Nate Kaeding inactive for SNF: Fantasy implications

Kelley L Cox-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Nate Kaeding is officially inactive for SNF against the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Diego Chargers K Nate Kaeding (groin) is officially inactive for Sunday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. Kaeding was already ruled out earlier in the week, so this is just official confirmation. He's dealing with a lingering groin injury and was already inactive in Week 4. Kaeding's status remains day-to-day.

Fantasy Impact: Nick Novak will continue kicking in Kaeding's absence. Hopefully you grabbed him off the waiver wire in what was surely a hotly contested battle for the backup kicker. Here are the other inactives for tonight's game: RB Curtis Brinkley, S Brandon Taylor, CB Shareece Wright, LB Jonas Mouton, NT Antonio Garay and TE Ladarius Green. Wright is still dealing with a high anke sprain, and Brinkley is redundant after the emergence of Jackie Battle.
