Christian Ponder Finishes With Decent Fantasy Numbers In Week 5

Christian Ponder finished with decent stats against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Vikings didn't have an issues taking down the Titans in Week 5 as Christian Ponder threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns, adding another 31 yards on the ground as well. Ponder did turn the ball over twice, but he finished with a relatively solid day overall for his owners.

Fantasy Impact: It wasn't a flawless performance from Ponder, but he's managing to put up decent fantasy numbers right now. An extra three points on the ground will certainly be welcomed by his owners. If Ponder can continue to find Percy Harvin often and Kyle Rudolph in the red zone, he could shape up to be a viable starter for your lineup. Keep in mind, though, the Titans have one of the worst defenses overall in the league.
