San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis continues hot hand in Week 5. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis continued his impressive streak, hauling in six catches for 106 yards against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Niners pass-catcher appeared to be the central figure in the team's passing game, which includes going vertical.

Fantasy Analysis: Davis is looking like the top tight end to own in fantasy leagues. His explosiveness and role in this San Francisco offense makes him extremely valuable. A quarterback like Alex Smith that plays mistake-free football also allows drives to stay alive, and thus providing more opportunities for Davis. As a tight end, he is one of the league leaders in receiving yards and touchdowns. Davis is a must-start on a weekly basis in all fantasy leagues.
