Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a very rough outing against the Niners defense on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick did not play an proficient football game against the 49ers in Week 5. Fitzpatrick threw for only 126 yards in four quarters, with an interception and zero touchdowns. The entire Bills offense failed to accomplish a single touchdown, as the team went on to get blown out 45-3.
Fantasy Analysis: Fitzpatrick was actually not a terrible play at quarterback through the first four weeks. The Bills tend to throw a lot, so Fitzpatrick gets an opportunity to amass yards and touchdowns. Even though he tends to turn it over, he is a serviceable bye week filler. The game against San Francisco comes as no surprise, and should not drastically alter his fantasy value. Whatever you thought of Fitzpatrick before Week 5 should be the same even now.
