Buffalo Bills running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller combined for only 53 yards Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller combined for only 53 yards on the ground on Sunday. The backs faced the daunting task of the 49ers defense. The game quickly spiraled out of control and the Bills found themselves playing from behind. They hardly had an opportunity to be a factor.
Fantasy Analysis: Jackson and Spiller form a great tandem in Buffalo. On a regular basis, both players are effective, productive runners featured in that Bills offense -- however, Sunday was a different situation all together. It's pretty unanimous that the 49ers run defense is the league's toughest, which is why a lot of owners strategized and benched Jackson and Spiller in Week 5. These guys are both good to go moving forward, as both are worth a spot in your lineup.
