Matt Cassel reportedly suffered a concussion against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.
The Chiefs may be without starting quarterback Matt Cassel in Week 6. He suffered a head injury against the Ravens on Sunday that has now been diagnosed as a concussion. Cassel will have to pass concussion tests before he is allowed to return to action.
Fantasy Impact: Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star believes it is doubtful Cassel plays next week. The Chiefs have a bye in Week 7, so it would be wise to give him an extra week to recover instead of rushing back. Fans actually cheered when Cassel left the game, displaying the overall frustration from Chiefs fans with their No. 1 passer. Brady Quinn now steps into the starting role, but you shouldn't expect to get much fantasy value out of him.
