Jimmy Graham injures ankle against Chargers

John David Mercer-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Jimmy Graham suffered an ankle injury on Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham rolled his ankle on the only catch he made in Week 5 against the Chargers. He was seen after the game in a walking boot, but there isn't any other news out on the matter at this point.

Fantasy Impact: After suffering the injury in the first quarter, Graham was basically used as a decoy and a blocker the rest of the night. The Saints are on a bye in Week 6, so depending on the nature of Graham's injury, he could be good to go again in Week 7. It all depends on the diagnosis of his ankle, so be sure to check on his status going forward this week. Aaron Kromer simply said, "We'll see," when asked about his No. 1 tight end's ankle.
