Adrian Peterson played through an ankle injury against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Adrian Peterson suffered an ankle injury at the beginning of his Week 5 matchup with the Titans. Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities reports that Peterson played through the injury to gain 88 yards on 17 carries.

Fantasy Impact: Peterson said he couldn't cut and that he was "hesitant on some plays" against Tennessee. It's a promising sign that he fought off the pain throughout the entire game, but it did take away from some of his value against an abysmal Titans run defense. Percy Harvin scored a touchdown on a carry near the goal line in the first quarter, so the Vikings might have been playing it safe with Peterson. Check on his status going forward to make sure he won't miss any playing time.
