Bernard Scott has been placed on IR by the Bengals. We break down the fantasy implications.
Bernard Scott injured his knee in the first half on Week 5 and did not return to action. The Bengals have now placed him on injured reserve, leaving Benjarvus Green-Ellis to handle the workload in Cincinnati.
Fantasy Impact: This is a tough blow for the Bengals ground game. Scott rushed for 40 yards on five carries before he exited the game against Miami. Green-Ellis only received nine carries, managing just 14 yards in his limited action. The Law Firm should see an increase in workload now with Scott out, but Brian Leonard and Cedric Peerman should get in on the action as well. Green-Ellis should have a better outing against Cleveland in Week 6, as the Browns just gave up huge numbers to Ahmad Bradshaw.
