Tim Tebow is doing a thing. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tebow Mania could be back. According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, New York Jets QB Tim Tebow spent extra time with QB Coach Matt Cavanaugh during warmups on Monday afternoon. Cimini goes on to note that Tebow spent way more time with throwing drills than is normal for warmups. The Jets are preparing to play the Houston Texans tonight.
Fantasy Impact: IS THIS THE RETURN OF THE TEBOW ERA? Probably not, but the Jets have not-so-subtly hinted that Mark Sanchez is on thin ice, giving Tebow more practice reps than usual this week. By all accounts, this game should be a laugher - the Texans are nine point favorites despite playing on the road - so we could indeed see plenty of Tebow tonight.
