Brian Cushing left Monday night's game between the Houston Texans and the New York Jets with a left knee injury and will not return. We break down the fantasy implications.
Brian Cushing left Monday night's game between the Houston Texans and the New York Jets with a left knee injury sustained on chop block in the second quarter. The outside linebacker will not return to the game after being spotted in street clothes along the sideline. Cushing walked gingerly to the locker room with trainers after taking the awkward hit.
Fantasy Impact: Cushing puts up a decent number of tackles, but lacks the sacks and TFLs to be an elite fantasy IDP option. He is a key part of a stout Texans defense, however, and his absence will certainly hurt the team. There is no word yet on whether he will miss extended time. Be sure to check back during the next week for more on Cushing's status.
