Clyde Gates left Monday night's game between the New York Jets and the Houston Texans with a shoulder injury, and will not return. We break down the fantasy implications.
Clyde Gates left Monday night's game game between the New York Jets and the Houston Texans with a shoulder injury, and will not return to the game. There is no word yet on the wide receiver's long-term status. The Jets were already without Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill for the game.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets are struggling to put bodies on the field, much less viable fantasy options. Gates had just one catch for 27 yards on three targets on the night, but his absence leaves the offense with just three wide receiver options: Jeremy Kerley, Chaz Schilens and Jason Hill. The Jets have to be absolutely desperate for help at this point.
