Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Shonn Greene had 26 yards on eight carries and one reception for 19 yards during the Jets' Monday night loss to the Texans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shonn Greene had 26 yards rushing on eight carries and one reception for 19 yards during the New York Jets' loss to the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football in Week 6. Bilal Powell had four carries for 18 yards during the loss.

Fantasy Impact: After rushing for 94 yards in the season opener, Greene has yet to gain more than 40 yards on the ground. He has also yet to average more than 3.5 yards per carry in any game this season. Factor in just one touchdown on the season, and Greene is borderline unplayable in standard fantasy leagues. If you're desperate, shove Green into your starting lineup to replace a starter on a bye. Otherwise, you should be able to find a better RB2 or Flex option elsewhere.
