Dustin Keller expects to play Week 6 when the Jets take on the Colts despite a nagging hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dustin Keller expects to play Week 6 when the New York Jets take on the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Rex Ryan told reporters Tuesday. Keller has been dealing with a lingering hamstring injury since preseason. He has made just one regular season appearance in 2012, catching one pass for seven yards in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact: It appears that Keller owners will finally get their chance to use the tight end this week if they so desire. The more prudent will wait to see how he responds to his first game action in five weeks before making any roster decisions, however. Keller could turn out to be a perfectly suitable low-end fantasy option in standard leagues, though he will have to overcome the Jets' ineptitude everywhere else on offense.
