Hakeem Nicks will play Week 6, according to Ahmad Bradshaw: Fantasy implications

The Star-Ledger-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Hakeem Nicks will play Week 6 when the Giants play the 49ers, according to teammate Ahmad Bradshaw. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hakeem Nicks will play Week 6 when the New York Giants play the San Francisco 49ers, running back Ahmad Bradshaw said Tuesday. Nicks has missed the last three weeks with a knee injury suffered following a monster Week 2 performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Nicks had 10 receptions for 199 yards and a touchdown against the Bucs, teasing fantasy owners before promptly going back on the shelf. He should resume WR1/WR2 status in due time, but he could have trouble producing against the San Francisco 49ers this week. The Niners appear to have the best defense in the NFL at the moment, and Nicks may not quite be 100 percent so fresh off injury. Be sure to follow up on injury reports Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to get a better sense of Nicks' status for Sunday.
