Week 9 is here and some new linebackers are heating up with all the injuries. Check 'em out.
While last week brought bad news all over the IDP landscape, Week 8 brought some positives for IDP owners dealing with injury woes.
Last time we talked about Brad Jones filling in at ILB for Green Bay and it wasn't quite clear how much he would play. Well, I was wrong. Jones had 10 tackles and I'd strongly consider adding him as a top-20 LB.
Wesley Woodyard had another big game with his four game of the season going for 10-plus tackles. He also added a sack to his 13 tackles, too. However, Woodyard tends to produce very well against pass-happy teams and isn't very active in the running game. I'm not a big fan of his this week, but I've been wrong before.
Colts LBs might be in trouble this week. Jerrell Freeman and Pat Angerer were both in walking boots on Wednesday. I'd be careful in starting either and if both are out, Kavell Conner is a sneaky play.
Colin McCarthy had 11 tackles on Sunday. Make sure he's not floating around on your waiver wire.
