Jake Locker participated in 11-on-11 passing drills with the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, according to the Nashville Tennesseean. While the increased participation is a step forward in Locker's recovery from a shoulder injury, the quarterback still has yet to be cleared for contact.
Head coach Mike Munchak restated that Locker has no chance of playing Sunday against the Chicago Bears. There is still a good chance that Locker won't return to the Titans until after the team's Week 11 bye.
Fantasy Impact: If the Locker sits until after the bye, he won't play again until Nov. 25 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While it is important that the sophomore quarterback takes every precaution to get healthy, he isn't doing fantasy owners many favors in the mean time.
Locker had been having a solid start to the season before getting injured. In his last full game, he threw for 378 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions. He is certainly worth keeping an eye on, and perhaps worth stashing if you have the space for a potential late-season fantasy boost.
