Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson did not practice on Thursday because of a hamstring injury. Nelson also missed practice on Wednesday after being ruled inactive for last weekend's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Nelson was scheduled to go through rehab work on Thursday before testing the injured hamstring on Friday. The Packers take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners should know more about Nelson's status on Friday, as Thursday's absence was expected. Nelson was a game-time decision last weekend and his owners could be in for more of the same on Sunday.
Nelson, if active, would be a solid No. 2 fantasy option against the Cardinals. James Jones and Randall Cobb would again move up in the rankings if Nelson can't play this weekend.
