Robert Meachem is inactive for TNF, presumably to hide his shame. We break down the fantasy implications.
San Diego Chargers WR Robert Meachem (hamstring) is officially inactive for Thursday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs. Meachem was limited in practice this week and was unlikely to play in a short week.
Meachem is currently in hot water with fans after having one of the worst drops of the season.on Sunday. He has just 12 catches for 189 yards and two TDs.
Fantasy Impact: Meachem's final stat line in Week 8? One rush, -6 yards. Yeah, it's been bad. Fantasy owners should drop the free-agent bust if they haven't already done so.
As for the rest of the team's inactive players, Eddie Royal is out with a hamstring issue, leaving the Chargers with just three active WRs for tonight. No wonder they signed Danario Alexander off the street a couple weeks ago. Malcom Floyd remains the only viable fantasy option in their depleted WR corps.
