Antonio Gates finally caught another touchdown pass. We break down the fantasy implications.

Antonio Gates found the end zone finally in the first half against the Chiefs in Week 9. After entering with just two touchdowns on the season, Gates managed to use his size to beat Eric Berry for an early score in the first quarter.

Gates finished the first half with three receptions for 43 yards and San Diego's lone touchdown.

Fantasy Impact: Owners have obviously been disappointed with the lackluster numbers from Gates this year, but if Philip Rivers can turn his game around, Gates will greatly benefit. Gates already has better numbers than he posted in Week 8.

Rivers needs to continue looking Gates' way and, if he does, the two will continue tallying up impressive fantasy numbers.
