Darren McFadden injury update: Disappointing fantasy year continues with high ankle sprain

Cary Emondson-US PRESSWIRE

Darren McFadden has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. McFadden was knocked out of Week 9's game early with a high ankle sprain and did not practice all week. There is no timetable for his return.

McFadden has had a slow start to the season, with 139 carries for just 415 rushing yards and two TDs. He added 31 receptions for 190 yards.

Fantasy Impact: You know it's the middle of the NFL season when DMC gets his annual lingering injury, crippling your fantasy team. For now, consider him week-to-week. Don't expect him back until he can start practicing.

Taiwan Jones will get the start and possibly split carries with Marcel Reece? Are you feeling lucky? It's a risky waiver claim, but could pay dividends for your team if the tiny speedster finds some open space.
