Calvin Johnson is active for Sunday's game between the Lions and the Vikings, despite missing practices this week due to several ailments. We break down the fantasy implications.
Calvin Johnson is active for Sunday's game between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings despite dealing with several nagging injuries. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury and potential nerve damage in his arms.
There has been no indication that Johnson will miss any playing time as a result of his health status. He was able to play a full complement of snaps last week, catching seven passes for 129 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite missing practice leading up to the game.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson is clearly less than 100 percent, but he is worth starting in your fantasy lineup as long as he remains the No. 1 target in the Lions' prolific passing attack. He was beat-up last week as well, and was still able to tear up the Jags' secondary.
Johnson has a good matchup again in Week 10 against a Vikings secondary that has given up 14 passing touchdowns on the season. Minnesota has just four interceptions on the year.
