Hakeem Nicks is active for Sunday's game between the Giants and the Bengals despite a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Hakeem Nicks is active for Sunday's game between the New York Giants and the Cincinnati Bengals. Nicks was held out practice Wednesday and limited Thursday before being marked as probable on Friday's injury report.
Nicks has played four straight weeks for the Giants, but has yet to have a big fantasy performance since catching 10 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown in Week 2.
Fantasy Impact: Nicks' Week 2 touchdown is still his only score on the season. He was held out three weeks with a knee injury following the game, and has since yet to record more than 53 yards in any game this season. He hopes to get back on track against the Bengals.
Cincinnati has surrendered 12 touchdown passes on the season, and is giving up 240 yards passing per game. It's a solid matchup, but Nicks has been quiet during prime matchups in the past. Start with caution this week.
