Philip Rivers showing the good, the bad and the ugly on Sunday for fantasy owners

J. Meric

Philip Rivers is throwing the game away on Sunday.

Philip Rivers started hot on Sunday with three TDs in the first half, but he has Rivers'd it up with a pick six. He currently has 305 yards, three TDs, one pick while completing 26-of-32 of his passes with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter.

We've seen this movie before with Rivers. His most recent blockbuster coming at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos a few weeks ago. The Broncos were left for dead by going in at the half down 24-3, but Rivers Rivers'd in that one to allow the Broncos to take the win in 35-24 fashion.

Rivers has been known for being a strong finisher in December and last year he had a 104.4 passer rating in the month. He was coming in off a big 18-of-20 attempts being completed and he had a 125.5 passer rating against the Chiefs. He'll have his ups and downs all year.
