Demaryius Thomas was forced from the game in the 2nd quarter with a knee injury, but he came back in the 2nd half and had another big day. We break down the fantasy implications.
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas seemed headed for a lost day in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. In the second quarter, Thomas left the game with a knee injury that appeared serious -- he needed the help of trainers to limp off the field. He did not play for the rest of the first half.
Thomas came back at the start of the second half, however, and finished with one of his biggest games of the season. He finished the game with nine catches for 134 yards. Thomas was held out of the endzone, but he did help the Broncos thrash the Panthers, 36-14.
Fantasy Impact: This is Thomas' fifth 100-yard game of the season. Through nine games, he's now up to 54 catches, 891 yards and four TDs. He has thrived under Peyton Manning and should be considered a WR1 in most fantasy leagues.
We should get an update on Thomas' knee injury later on, but it doesn't seem as serious as it looked at first.
