Steven Jackson has 44 yards and a TD already as the Rams jumped out to a surprising 14-0 lead over San Francisco.
St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson cares little for your NFL age curves. Through the end of the 1st quarter against the San Francisco 49ers, Jackson already has 44 yards on eight carries and a touchdown. The Rams jumped out to a fast 14-0 start against the usually stout Niners defense. Jackson's TD run came with 1:51 left in fhe first quarter, walking in nearly untouched on a seven-yard run.
There's been a lot of chatter about Jackson's future with the Rams and his NFL career in general. He's certainly lost a step this year, getting only 3.4 YPC, and didn't score a TD until Week 7.
For now, though, fantasy owners who stuck with him should be happy with his production so far today.
