Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is off to a solid start against the Philadelphia Eagles as the Cowboys lead 10-7 at the half.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has had a solid first half as the Cowboys lead the Eagles 10-7. Romo is 12-for-17 with 125 yards and a touchdown. He has been sacked twice, but has done well when given time to throw.
Romo found Felix Jones for an 11 yard touchdown late in the first quarter to tie the game. In the second quarter he helped the Cowboys move down the field for a 30-yard field goal.
The two sacks on Romo came on back-to-back plays in the second quarter and cost the Cowboys 12 yards, but didn't cause any damage to Romo. The next time Dallas got the ball he hit Dez Bryant for a 49-yard completion, his longest of the game thus far.
Romo and the Cowboys have lost two straight games and four of their last five. In those games Romo only threw for more than one touchdown once, in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. The Cowboys and fantasy owners hope he can find the end zone again in the second half against the Eagles.
